July 1984 " Dearest Caesar, My sincerest apologies for the late reply to your last letter. I was quite busy at the time with the move and running the antique shop. Congratulations on the new baby. I do remember how much you used to gush about starting a family with Kimmy. Remember whenever I used to roll my eyes and called you a sap? Good times. Anyway, I understand you were concerned about my wellbeing especially after the death of good doctor. After moving out from that house, I have felt much lighter and I can assure you I am doing just fine for myself. In fact, I believe this will surprise you when you hear this, but I have decided to treat myself to some much needed vacation time. I will be boarding the ocean liner "Atlantis" which will be traveling from Los Angeles to Tokyo, Japan. With that being said, I'd love to come see you, Kimmy, and your new bundle of joy while in Tokyo. See you soon old friend, Mel "
