Michael Harris was born on February 15, 1958, and grew up in San Francisco, in a family of hereditary photographers. From childhood, he showed an interest in art and technology, often accompanying his father on photo walks around the city. Already in his teens, Michael began to master the basics of photography, working with vintage cameras. Education and youth In 1976, Michael graduated from high school with honors. After graduating, Michael entered the School of Journalism at the University of California, where he specialized in documentary photography. During his studies, he actively participated in student projects and organized his own exhibitions. Michael took his first professional steps in a local photo studio, where he mastered all the intricacies of photo processing and working with clients. His talent was noticed, and soon he began to receive orders from local publications. Professional path In 1980, after receiving his diploma, Michael began working at the West Coast Photo agency.
