Maroon was born on July 17, 1965, in Tallahassee, Florida. Described as being super outgoing, doing his best to include anyone who felt left out and stand up for what's right as a kid, Maroon loved to watch dirt bike races on TV. When he finally turned 17, he got his dirt bike and license and entered races, where he placed first and was the crowd's favorite. In 1985, at 18, Maroon was now famous with thousands of loyal fans; however, that same year, he was involved in an accident on the track. During a race, Maroon's bike lost control; he crashed into a wall. Maroon didn't break any bones but gained a face scar, which he thinks is cool and makes him look manly. At age 19, he now has 16 championship trophies. Deciding he needed a vacation to celebrate, Maroon decided to buy a ticket for a luxury cruise aboard the MS Atlantis to Tokyo, Japan.
